Important: this article contains interactive 3D Java animations. For instructions on browser settings and how to control the animations, click here.

Tips: allow the Java animations time to initialize; if applets fail to initialize (e.g. due to apparent "syntax error"), try to refresh the page (F5 or View - Refresh). The rotation speed and direction can be deceptive due to strobing effect; e.g. the "free" torus has the highest rotational spin. Note: in the case of dynamic (non-integer) spin balance (i.e. all except "o" - "row"), the red charge path indicates the lower integer spin ratio, the blue one the next higher integer spin ratio.
